Beresford Burgan is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-2 194 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Mount St Michael Academy. Burgan has a large frame with a strong athletic build. Defensively he throws with a long slinging arm action with arm strength up to 83 MPH. He has developing actions in the outfield and throws from a lower arm slot. At the plate, Burgan starts with a slightly open stance and glides to contact. He has some bat speed and strength in his swing. Burgan looks to pull and has some power potential. He showed some hitting tools that could really develop with a few adjustments. Good student.
