Dan McMullen is a 2014 C/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Twinsburg, OH who attends Twinsburg. Large, strong, projectable frame with some room to fill out. Ran a 7.34 60 yard dash. Primary catcher with good receiving skills. Strong, accurate arm and quick transfer. Very good defensive catcher who blocks balls well in dirt. Long loose arm action from outfield and shows arm strength. Ball comes out of hand easy with some carry and throws are delivered online. Left handed batter with slightly open base and high hand set up. Slides front foot to load which tends to cause timing issues. Short compact swing and stays inside the ball well. Flashes a bit of power and line drive pull contact. Excellent student.
