Chandler Hawk is a 2014 SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Medina, WA who attends Bellevue HS. Long frame, slender build with room to fill. Hits from an open stance, strides closed, rotational swing with a pull oriented approach, short load, some separation of upper and lower halves, quick hands, projectable strength would increase bat speed, chance to develop. Quick actions defensively, charges the ball well, quick release on throws, good energy to actions, arm needs to develop to stay on left side of infield but actions should allow him to stay in the middle of the infield at the college level. Very good student.
