Cody Allen is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Bulverde, TX who attends Smithson Valley HS. Allen has a medium athletic frame with room to add strength. As an infielder he showed good footwork with smooth fielding actions and good arm strength. As a right handed pitcher he pitched from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action and a compact delivery. He attacked hitter on the mound, quick tempo on the mound with a good fastball and a good curveball with 11-5 breaking action. As a right handed hitter he hit from a square stance with good use of his lower half and an aggressive approach with a line drive swing plane and good extension. Named to Top Prospect List and Team. Excellent Student.
