Colin Gordon is a 2016 SS/OF/RHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from West Valley, UT who attends Bingham HS. Tall slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Switch-hitter, similar rotational swings from both sides of the plate, has more bat speed and a better natural rhythm from the left side, stays shorter and more direct to the ball and has quick hands left handed. 7.08 runner, showed very good athleticism at shortstop along with a strong arm, good hands, trusts his arm and will lay back on the ball at times, made the defensive play of the event with a diving catch at shortstop. Also pitched, high energy delivery with some fall off and head whip at release, still managed to throw strikes due to athleticism. Fastball topped at 83 mph, gets some spin and depth on an upper 60's downer curveball. Very good student.
