Colton Widdows is a 2016 LHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends Dunedin HS. Broad shouldered young athletic build, projects well physically. Simple delivery mechanics, high 3/4's arm slot with some upper body lean, late energy at release, arm action is smooth and quick with good extension out front. Mid-80's fastball, mostly straight but gets some cutting action down in the zone glove side. Change up was his best pitch, nice arm speed with good diving action out of the strike zone. Soft curveball that will flash some 12/6 depth but needs more power and consistency. Good student.
