Justin Lindsey is a 6'2" 165 pound 2007 infielder and right handed pitcher from Gilbert, Arizona who attends Hamilton High School and is a switch hitter. He has a projectable body with a lean athletic build. His long arms and legs will get much stronger over time. Justin has a solid shortstop's arm with good footwork and the mobility to play the infield. He has sure soft hands and makes accurate throws across the infield at 72 mph. At the plate, Lindsey stands tall with an average base and generates good bat speed through the hitting zone. He is a gap to gap hitter with a smooth level swing. It seems he is a little stronger from the right side right now. Justin showed pure arm strength on the mound by throwing his fastball at 84 mph. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot but will drop down on occcasion. He has a clean arm path in the back and has good arm speed out front. Lindsey's breaking ball showed the potential to be an out pitch in the future. He threw it at 66-68 mph with his change up being 70-73 mph. He has a good feel for the strike zone as well. Justin is a two way prospect who is an excellent student as well with a 3.92 gpa.
