Steven Bower is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Peachtree Ridge. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a well-proportioned, strong build. Ran a 7.07 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from an extended three-quarter arm slot with a long and whippy arm action. Small twist at top of delivery, drives towards the plate and gets over his front side well, creating angle and downward plane on pitches. Pounds the strike zone with his fastball, topped out at 86 mph with run to his arm side and ability to work down to both sides of the plate, misses bats with the pitch. Curveball shows tight spin and 1-7 shape with slight depth, occasionally gets around it and flashed a changeup at 78 mph. Verbal commitment to North Georgia College and State. Named to Southeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
