Bryan Lopez is a 2016 OF/ with a 6-0 174 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Christian. Large frame with athletic, well-proportioned present build and very good room to continue filling out. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Hits from slightly open, relaxed stance and looks to turn the barrel early and pull the ball consistently. Shows solid strength in swing that will only continue to get better with additional reps. Consistently hit the ball to the pull-field, showed some ability to go back up the middle as well. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Stays back on the ball well and keeps it in front of him. Active, quick feet to the ball. Fields cleanly with both hands and gets moving into crow hop; extended release with long arm action into throws, outfield velocity topped at 65 MPH with solid accuracy to both 3B and home. Good student.
