James Boria is a 2016 C/UT with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from No Massapequa, NY who attends Farmingdale Senior. Medium, strongly built, athletic frame with more room to add strength. Ran a 7.15 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a wide setup and uses a level, line drive swing path. Has a high back elbow and gets the barrel out quickly. Shows good plate coverage and bat speed. Hits line drives to his pull side. Shows a quick transfer from behind the plate and has good footwork. Flashes athletic receiving actions and solid arm strength. Good student.
