2016 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Evan Slebrch is a 2017 OF/C with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Sterling, VA who attends Dominion High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.73 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked well through the ball, looks to charge, and developing arm strength. At the plate, started with an even stance, high hand set, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Short, compact swing to the ball, linear swing plane, and utilized an up the middle approach. Inconsistent barrel through the zone with limited lower half. Would improve swing consistency with additional rhythm and lower half incorporation. Very good student.
