Mark Vierling is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Christian Brothers College HS. Strong athletic build. 6.73 runner, has good hands in the infield and a quick glove to hand exchange, long arm action, very good raw arm strength, charges the ball well, third base actions unless he can shorten up his release but will be very solid there. Right handed hitter, has hitting rhythm with a good load and a leg lift trigger, lots of energy in his swing but lots of bat speed, can drive the ball and showed his power potential, may have to tone down the swing for more consistent barrel. Very solid overall tools. Good student, verbal commitment to Missouri.
