Avery Jennings is a 2016 SS/2B, RHP, 3B with a 5-10 162 lb. frame from Columbia, MO who attends Rock Bridge. Has a medium athletic frame with a solid build. Displayed good lateral agility at short stop with quick actions. Has good footwork with a good accruate arm across the infield with a quick release and made a nice backhanded play at short during the games. Has a easy level swing with bat speed, has good balance, is short to the ball and is a gap to gap hitter. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action, has arm side run on his fastball and mixes in his slider to keep hitters guessing. Is an outstanding student.
