Blake Jeter is a 2017 1B with a 6-3 250 lb. frame from Easley, SC who attends J L Mann HS. Extra large and strong young man, country strong, will have to work hard to maintain athleticism but has it now, young face, still not mature. Right handed hitter, Outstanding raw bat speed and strength at contact, ball explodes off the barrel, 445' home run in game, 103-105 mph exit velocities per Trackman and Zepp, showed game barrel skills and does not sell out for bat speed, generally works the middle of the field, has big shift into contact that he times and controls well, very high ceiling offensive potential in a pretty unique physical package. Moves around first base well for his size and age, has clean actions and makes accurate throws. Fun to watch hit, the type that everyone stops and watches when he comes to the plate. Good student.
