Matthew McKeown is a 2015 3B/MIF/OF with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Barrington, NJ who attends Paul Vi HS. Big strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. 6.99 runner, long loose arm action, throws have good carry from third base. Right handed hitter, straight stance, quick hands with a short path to the ball, creates good bat speed with some lift and uppercut plane at contact, good loose extension out front, squares the ball up and can drive it, very nice overall swing mechanics. Bat will be his carrying tool. Good student, verbal commitment to Delaware.
