Reagan Mills is a 2018 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from New Market, MD who attends St. John's Catholic Prep. Large frame with a solid, athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Ran a 7.64 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with compact, fundamental footwork while working to and surrounding the baseball. Flashed good first step quickness with developing range to each side. Generated good momentum while releasing from a high three-quarters arm slot that generated some carry to the bag with accuracy, topped at 76 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and large leg lift trigger. Hands fire from a slightly lower slot on an uphill plane through extension. Flashed good hand quickness through the hitting zone with the ability to turn the barrel to contact and work to pull side. Swings with intent to drive the baseball between the outfield gaps. Also pitched with a simple rock step to leg lift delivery. Creates some downward tilt to the plate form a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball topped at 76 miles per hour with occasional sinking action. Also showed a 12/6 curveball with softer rotation and solid depth when located at the bottom of the zone. Very good student as well.
