Chase Wilkerson is a 2018 RHP/SS with a 6-0 181 lb. frame from Headland, AL who attends Headland HS. Medium build with good present strength. High energy delivery, deep and low arm action in back, arm is late coming through at times, compact release out front. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 91 mph early, has some arm side life and heaviness to his fastball. 11/5 curveball in the low 70's thrown for strikes, works to the middle of the plate and challenges hitters. 6.87 runner, has solid footwork in the infield with nice accuracy on his throws. Right handed hitter, open start with a power approach at the plate, has some raw bat speed, pull and lift swing. Good student. Verbal commitment to Florida State.
