Christopher De Guzman is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Fajardo, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Outstanding throwing arm, can throw from multiple arm slots, moves his feet well especially to the backhand and charging, fields the ball out front with good overall actions, would be interesting to see on the mound given his arm action and strength. Switch-hitter, similar approach both sides, better bat speed right handed, big leg lift trigger impacts consistency in timing especially from the right side, rotational upper body swing with limited shift into contact, has adjustments to make to take advantage of his athleticism at the plate. 6.95 runner.
