Andrew Whitten is a 2014 OF/C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Spring Woods. Has a medium athletic frame with room to fill out. Has a short arm action from the outfield with arm strength, his throws are accurate and online and has good feet work. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot on the mound with good repeatable mechanics, and pitches to contact. Has a compact stance at the plate with busy hands at the plate. Has pop to left field at the plate, makes consistent contact and is a lead-off hitter. He uses his speed well on the bases and in the outfield where he can get to balls others can't. Is an excellent student.
