Alexander "Xander" Smith is a 2015 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Centennial HS. Large framed athletic build, good present strength. Right handed hitter, aggressive swing, moves into contact hard, too hard at times, long swing but has raw bat speed and strength at contact, ball jumps off the barrel well, makes good contact, has hitting tools to develop. 7.66 runner, good transfer and release, good hands at the ball, playable arm strength for third base. Also pitched, big deep arm circle, 3/4's arm slot, fastball topped at 78 mph, big sweeping curveball with occasional bite. Excellent student.
