Eduardo Cruz is a 2017 3B/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Has a medium frame, strong build, clear sign of present strength in body. Posted a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary third basemen, showed actions on the infield, developing footwork, good hands, and clean transfers. Made accurate throws across the infield with arm strength getting up to 77 MPH. Also worked out from the outfield, displayed similar arm strength at 78 MPH. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with wide base and a high hand set. Has a middle of the field to pull side approach. Swings on a line drive swing plane, has strength in swing, does a nice job of keeping his hands inside the baseball. Hit consistent line drives in games. Excellent student.
