Brandon Lee Quinones is a 2017 OF/IF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Hialeah Gardens, FL who attends Mater Academy Lakes. Medium frame, lean athletic build with room to fill out. Primary outfielder, is aggressive to the ball and shows solid body control and fluidity. Up to 77 mph in defensive drills. Also worked out in the infield, showed nice, soft hands with smooth and efficient actions. Compact arm-action, short on the backside with good transfer, throws generally accurate across the diamond. Right handed hitter, simple, short swing. Likes to keeps hands inside the ball, shows good quickness and solid bat speed, able to repeat approach well. Solid feel for the barrel, creates good line-drive contact to the middle of the field. Excellent student.
