Timmy Webb is a 2007 LHP with a 6'2'', 180 lb. frame from Lantana FL, who attends Pope John Paul HS. He has a lean, loose build and looks lighter than the 180 lbs he's listed as. Webb throws from a full, well paced delivery with an extended 3/4's release. His arm is loose and free and works well out front. Webb had four quality pitches and used them well. His 4-seam fastball was 84-86 mph, touch 87 and to left handers he would frequently cut his fastball at 81 mph and move the ball away from them. If Webb missed with his fastball it was always down in the strike zone. His curveball had a big, sweeping break with tight spin and he mixed in a couple of quality 71 mph change ups that he could use more frequently and might when pitching a full game. Webb has all the ingredients to be a very effective left hander at the next level and has good upside as he gets stronger.
