Jonathan Rosado is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-2 186 lb. frame from Bayamon, PR who attends Academia Discipulos de Cristo. Broad shouldered athletic build, good present strength, could get very strong with work and physical maturity. Long loose arm action, stays tall and on line in delivery, occasional drift to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot, gets downhill well. Steady low 80's fastball, topped out at 84 mph, gets good cutting action to his fastball, works to the glove side well. Hand position slider with some feel, short break but throws it for strikes. Rare change up. Has some ability as a right handed hitter due to his strength, long aggressive swing, ball comes off the barrel hard, has raw power to be tapped with regular contact. Nice projection on the mound, follow closely. Good student. Named to the Caribbean Underclass Top Prospect team.
