Grant Otto is a 2016 SS with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Whitehouse Station, NJ who attends Delbarton HS. Slender young athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. 5.26 runner in the forty, has quick feet in the infield and works around the ball well, active feet with good balance, hands work well at the ball, can throw from multiple arm slots and gets good carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, simple hitting mechanics, has quiet hands and a small leg lift trigger, has quick hands and looks to pull the ball with a short line drive swing, gets good extension through contact, high average type hitting approach. Should continue to improve in all areas with additional strength. Good student.
