Matt Jones is a 2015 OF/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Bowmanville, ON who attends St Stephens. Medium, athletic build. Ran a 7.18 60 yard dash. Shows good arm strength from the outfield and charges the ball well. Makes accurate throws. Also shows potential in the infield. Bats right-handed, works from a wide, crouched setup and carries his hands high. Takes an aggressive swing and looks to drive the ball. Uses a toe tap trigger and has good swing timing. Flashes good bat speed. Very good student.
