Avery Tuck is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Steele Canyon HS. Long and lean athletic build, very projectable physically. Left handed hitter, calm approach at the plate with an easy shift into contact, fluid and loose swing with easy bat speed, gets huge carry and back spin off the barrel, pulled balls out of the park in BP and hit one off the LCF wall in games, has top of the scale raw power and it comes easy without sacrificing barrel skills or balance. 6.88 runner, long and loose arm action with big raw arm strength and carry, pitcher's arm action. Has graceful athletic actions in everything he does on the baseball field. Has a chance to be a very high draft next June. Verbal commitment to San Diego State.
