Michael X Nieves is a 2019 SS/RHP with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Keene, TX who attends Keene HS. Short slender build. Right handed hitter with a good shift into contact, short line drive swing with a nice feel for the barrel, squares up the ball and hits it to all fields, will keep improving offensively as he gets stronger. 7.17 runner, has quick actions in the infield on defense, stays low through the ball and plays on his toes, has soft hands and a quick release, makes accurate throws. Also pitched, fastball to 74 mph from a simple delivery. Nice athlete who can do some things on the field.
