Kace Massner is a 2016 OF/ with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Burlington, IA who attends Burlington Community. Tall, athletic frame with present strength throughout. At the plate shows a tall stance with a leg lift trigger. Front foot is soft on stride and hands launch on a compact plane through the zone. Shows a mid-field approach with consistent line drive contact. Shows bat speed, more should develop with increasaed lower half actions. Has an uphill swing plane with good extenstion through contact. From the outfield shows compact arm actions with on line carry, topped at 83 mph. Great range and speed to cut down balls in the gap with smooth glove actions when transitioning through the baseball. Very athletic actions with top tier speed. Ran the sixty yard dash in 6.34. Projects to be a very solid next level player once hitting is polished. Good student as well.
