Hayden Schultz is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Cedar Falls, IA who attends Cedar Falls HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Rock back leg raise delivery, full arm circle, one piece arm action, high 3/4's arm slot. Mid 70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, good sinking action when down in the zone, settled down and threw fastball for strikes. Soft curveball in the mid-60's, difficult arm action to spin the ball from, developing change up. Right handed hitter, big hand drop load, open stance, looks to get extended, has some strength when squared, power approach. Good student.
