Josh Mora is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Buena Park, CA who attends Mater Dei. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good, projectable room for additional growth on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Hits with extended hand load way back towards catcher, hunches over into swing somewhat, short and quick path to the hitting zone with solid barrel control. Made consistent contact with good ability to hit the ball to all fields. Finishes swing well. Controls strike zone well and battles in the box. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Moves to ball well with solid footwork, fields cleanly and transfers well from glove to hand, extended crow hop with solid fluidity and shows good arm strength. OF velocity clocked up to 82 MPH with good accuracy to target. Excellent student.
