Joshua Arnold is a 2016 RHP/OF, MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Petersburg, NJ who attends Ocean City. Medium, athletic build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with added strength. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from a high three-quarter arm slot with a fast arm and a short arm action in the back. Repeats delivery well, gets extension with lower half, works fastball in the 83-85 mph, jumps on hitters and shows late life to arm side. Slider topped at 74 mph with sharp break and depth. Same arm action from the outfield, works through the ball, good arm strength on throws. Right-handed hitter, starts from an upright stance with a high hand set. Quiet load, line drive swing path with slight lift, creates contact to all fields with easy swing, sound approach. Named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List. Outstanding student.
