John Moynihan is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Verona, WI who attends Verona Area HS. Named to Top Prospect list. Medium, strong, durable build with a good lower half. Ran a 7.90 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and shows big fastball life at 87 mph. Holds his velocity well and commands the ball down in the zone. Has a compact, repeatable delivery and stays balanced. Showed a better feel for his curveball as outing moved along and flashes sharp 11-5 bite. Varies breaking ball seem. Misses a lot of bats. Also swung the bat, uses a toe tap trigger and flashes power potential. Shows good infield arm strength as well. Good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
