Charles Bailey is a 2016 RHP/3B, 1B, OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Ellenwood, GA who attends Grady. Large frame, long thin athletic build with room to fill. Pitches from a low three quarters arm slot with a long arm action, extended release. Loose arm action, can get more extension out front to reduce distance of ball path from release to strike zone. Projects well, mixed slider effectively, threw strikes consistently and velocity climbed as outing progressed. Arm works lose and easy, body projects well also, can utilize lower half more to generate more velocity from mechanical adjustments in addition to strength gains from natural maturity. Fluid stroke at the plate, line drive plane, short path, more power with better lower half incorporation. Short arm action on infield throws, solid athleticism in the infield, accurate throws. Good student.
