Brandon Lock is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Yorba Linda, CA who attends Esperanza. Medium, very slender, wiry frame with room to fill out. Above average athlete with speed. Ran a 6.89 60 yard dash. Shows good life on his fastball and pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot. Varies from a four-seam to a two-seam fastball and tops at 78 mph. Works on the edges of the strike zone. Also mixes a 68 mph curveball with 11-5 action. Also swung the bat, shows good bat speed and generates good leverage off his back leg. Hits to all fields effectively. Makes low effort throws from the outfield and moves his feet well. Very good student.
