Davis Bak is a 2017 OF/IF/RHP with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Plant HS. Bak has a large frame with some present strength. Defensively he throws with a long arm action with arm strength up to 78 MPH. Bak has developing outfield actions with solid transfers. He throws with some effort and has an upright release. At the plate, Bak starts with a slightly crouched stance and a high hand set. He uses a toe tap trigger and showed a power approach at the plate. Bak has a rotational swing and he has easy bat speed. He showed the ability to drive the baseball and showed some barrel feel at the plate. Excellent student.
