Trevor Walker is a 2016 RHP/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Chino Hills, CA who attends Chino Hills HS. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength throughout frame. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, short arm action through the back to a high three-quarter arm slot. Shows balance through delivery, loads weight on back, tilts shoulders and creates downhill plane. Quick arm and repeats delivery well, fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly true with occasional arm side run. Curveball shows 12-6 shape with sharp depth, has feel and command of the pitch. Lowers slot slightly on changeup, shows dive sown in the zone at 76 mph and locates. Full four pitch mix and mixes confidently, slider comes out like fastball, short and late tilt, very effective against right-handed hitters. Holds velocity out of the stretch. Shows actions to the ball in the infield, lower slot and gets on top of throws, clean out of hand with athletic actions. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base stance and a high back elbow. Upper body swing, short bat path to the ball and shows bat speed through the zone. Balanced swing, shows nice feel for the barrel with consistent barrel contact to the middle of the field. Has comfort hitting to the opposite field and shifts well through lower half. Named to West Coast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
