Robert Reeves is a 2016 C/RHP/OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Sylmar, CA who attends Hart HS. Tall athletic build, looks much stronger than the 180# he's listed at. Left handed hitter, spread stance with a high hand start, gets to his front side very early, needs to let the ball travel and get deeper, has raw bat speed with pull line drive contact, flashes pop when he stays back even a bit, has hitting tools and strength to develop. Has athleticism behind the plate, blocks very well to his left, not as quick to his right, solid arm strength with a quick release, very accurate throws, 1.93 in drills, 2.06 in games. Shows leadership and energy behind the plate, very active player who is involved in every aspect of the game. Also pitched, full drop and drive delivery, deep arm action, 3/4's release slot. Can really spin the ball, hard tight spin with some bite. Change up is a quality pitch with hard sinking action, fastball topped out at 82 mph. Nice all around player who is going to keep improving.
