Jose Rojas is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Mater Academy Lakes HS. Has a medium frame, lean build, and room to continue to fill out as he puts on additional muscle. Posted a 6.90 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, plays below the baseball well with good hands. Made solid throws across the infield with developing accuracy. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base and knee bent stance. Stays on a line drive swing plane while staying short to the baseball. Has a fuller swing and repeatably finds the barrel. Good student.
