Austin Figueroa is a 2015 RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Gurabo, PR who attends Colegio Cristo de los Milagros. Medium, lean young build with more room to fill out. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and has a short arm action in back. Arm works well and tops at 89 mph with his fastball. Has a lower effort delivery and the ball comes out well. Stays balanced and repeats his delivery. Mixes a 69 mph curveball with late bit and good 11-5 shape. Shows a good feel for his pitches. Induces groundball contact and attacks the zone.
