Chase Pendley is a 2021 SS with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Prosper, TX who attends Prosper. Long and lanky middle infielder's build, plenty of room to get stronger, projects well physically. Strong next level tools defensively, has a quick first step and is aggressive coming through the ball, fluid and balanced in all his actions with soft hands out front, plenty of arm strength with a quick release, was challenged to make plays in the games and really stood out. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a minimal shift into contact, upper body swing with quick and direct hands, some present bat speed with more to come. Defense will carry him as his offensive game further develops. Good student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
