Parker Kirkpatrick is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-1 184 lb. frame from Lawrence, KS who attends Lawrence HS. Large lean athletic build, some present strength with room for more. Simple leg raise delivery, gets turned well, full clean arm circle, high 3/4's arm slot, tends to pull head down and off the plate at release. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight. Best pitches are his off speed offerings at present. Slider is a good pitch, has tight spin and bite, softer curveball has good spin and depth as well, gets nice fading action on his change up. Can mix it up until the fastball velocity comes with maturity. Right handed hitter, big shift into contact, long aggressive swing, power approach with some jump when the ball is squared. Very good student.
