2019 Sunshine Southeast Showcase
Henry Jamieson is a 2019 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from St. Simons Island, GA who attends Glynn Academy. Large frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.35 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance, active hands in load, leg lift trigger, good bat speed through the zone with some whip to barrel, impacts the ball out front and shows power up the gap, projects for more as well. Primary infielder, fields out front and works through the ball well, good footwork when under control, gets off clean release with legitimate arm strength, clocked up to 87 mph. Also threw 85 mph from first base. Pitched as well, low-maintenance delivery, easy arm stroke through the back, fastball worked 79-82 mph with good life, also showed frisbee slider for strikes. Excellent student, signed with Bates College. Named to 2019 Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List.
