Brian Wilkerson is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Houston County HS in Bonaire, GA, with a 6'2", 185 lb. frame. He has a medium frame and a loose, easy arm action that works well. Wilkerson is a drop and drive type of pitcher whose best stuff is when he gets extended out front. His fastball was 85-87 mph in Atlanta with occasional running action. Wilkerson's breaking ball was 76 mph and had a sharp, fairly flat slider type of break to it. He has a good feel for his breaking ball and was able to move it around and vary the break to different hitters. Wilkerson's change up is 76 mph and has nice tailing life to it. Wilkerson projects well in the future and should keep improving his velocity and overall stuff.
