Luca Portolese is a 2015 2B/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from St.Leonard, QC who attends Anjou HS. Medium athletic build with a lean, projectable frame. Young look. Ran a 7.57 60 yard dash. Shows good hands in the infield, stays balanced on throws, shows arm strength which will continue to develop, tools play well at second base. Left handed batter, shows a short, fluid stroke with good extension, flashed hard contact in game setting. Upper half dominated swing, contact to opposite field, gets barrel through the zone, maintains balance in swing. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect Team.
