Nick Manocchio is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Weston, FL. Tall and slender young build, minimal present strength. High leg raise delivery, stays balanced well, high 3/4's arm slot, arm works well, low effort release, good extension out front, tends to fall off to third base side especially when facing left handed hitters. Fastball topped at 74 mph, good arm side to right handed hitters, tries to pitch to the outside corner, keeps the ball low in the strike zone well. Nice change up with proper arm speed. Will need to develop a breaking ball. Left handed hitter, long swing with deep hand start, swings hard, downward swing plane with a long stride, mid field contact. Excellent student.
