Bryan Bund is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Lake Forest, IL who attends Lake Forest HS. Slender tall build, young look, lots of room to get stronger. Tall delivery with a very short stride out, compact high arm action, hides ball well, tends to cut arm off out front due to stride, arm is quick and works well until release, high 3/4's arm slot. Upper 70's fastball, mostly straight but gets downhill well. Nice change up with good arm speed and fading action, uses change up with confidence and at the proper times. 70 mph slider flashed tight spin at times and some two-plane depth. Had better stuff from the stretch than from his wind up. Young projectable pitcher with three solid pitches to develop as he gets stronger. Right handed hitter, spread stance, keeps hands tight to body and short to the ball, swings hard and is aggressive, consistent line drive contact. Very good student.
