Zachary Haines is a 2016 C/1B/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Richmond Hill, GA who attends Richmond Hill HS. Tall and lean build, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.39 runner, long loose arm action behind the plate, good footwork throwing and shifting, has some athleticism and projection, 1.94 best pop time. Right handed hitter, aggressive swing approach from a high hand start, strides into contact hard and will occasionally loose balance and ability to repeat mechanics, good swing path with the beginnings of some bat speed, line drive swing plane. Did not pitch but has been up to 84 mph off the mound in the past.Very good student.
