Drake Brunet is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Ville Platte, LA who attends St Edmund Catholic HS. Medium, athletic frame with present strength and room to fill out. Ran a 7.39 60-yard. Primary middle infielder, takes short steps to the ball, short arm action and does a nice job of getting on top of the ball and shows strength across, controls body well charging in. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slight knee bend in stance with a quiet load. Simple and repeatable swing mechanics with a compact swing, creates nice extension out front at contact with ability to hit to all fields. Outstanding student.
