Brett Harper is a 2020 C/3B/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends Allen HS. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a barrel wrap start, tends to stay on his back side during his swing with limited shift through contact, has some strength in his swing and some lift to his swing plane, middle of the field approach and will go the other way on the outside pitch. 7.29 runner, has good athleticism behind the plate and showed quickness, received the ball well and was quick adjusting to pitches outside the zone or in the dirt, quick and compact release on this throws, very accurate with good carry, pretty polished receiver. Also played the outfield and made a beautiful Jim Edmonds style over the shoulder catch in centerfield to highlight his athleticism and coordination. Very good student.
